Employment land
Up to 2ha of employment land (Use Class E) is proposed to the east of the Bratton Green, accessed off a proposed new roundabout to enable ease of access and ensure related employment traffic is not routed through the residential areas. It is envisaged that the employment development will consist of low-density E Use Class to protect the amenity of residents. Use Class E encompasses commercial, business and services employment uses, and could include offices, commercial space, light industrial and hospitality. The massing and design of the buildings would be carefully considered to ensure they are appropriate to the nature and location of the uses.

Economic development
In addition to providing a sustainable community of much-needed homes, community facilities and employment space to assist in delivering on the vision of the emerging Telford & Wrekin Local Plan Review, Bratton Green will bring with it significant economic benefits for Telford, both during development and once completed. A snapshot is set out in the following image.
